I am a physical therapist who attended graduate school at the University of Washington. I have a BA in Exercise and Sport Science, from Western Washington University. I am a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Certified Clinical Instructor. I am grateful for my academic and clinical mentors.
My post-graduate studies include over a decade of lab-based classes and academic lectures. Coursework includes manual therapy, orthopedic and spine problems, pain, sports injuries and performance enhancement, and legislative issues. Special interests include running/walking gait analysis, bicycle fit, skiing, and the tactical athlete (military, police, fire, and rescue). I enjoy serving those who serve.
My rehabilitation strategy integrates patient/client education, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise. Other tools include biomechanical corrections such as shoes, insoles, orthotics, taping, and bracing. Detailed evaluation and good communication leads to a successful treatment plan.
I grew up in Issaquah and live in Woodinville. I enjoy spending time with my family, cycling, running, hiking, and skiing.
