My therapy treatment focuses on providing patient education for improved postural and body awareness to maintain a healthy lifestyle and prevent future injury. By assessing the person as a whole, I can combine hands-on techniques, functional movement, and stabilization to create a realistic and individualized plan of care.
I combined my background in dance and my interest in medicine to pursue physical therapy as a career. I earned my BS in Psychology from the University of Washington before graduating from the University of Southern California with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. My professional interests include Performing Arts Rehabilitation, Women’s health, and Sport & Spine Rehabilitation. I enjoy the challenge of orthopedics and continue to pursue continuing education and advanced certifications including my Certification in Integrated Manual Therapy. I am also a member of the Seattle Dance and Performing Arts Medicine group, offering free injury prevention clinics and screenings for local dancers.
In my spare time, I enjoy getting outdoors, supporting the performing arts, spending time with my family, and travel.
