Kendra Brown, PT, DPT, CIMT
Kendra combined her background in dance and her interest in medicine to pursue physical therapy as a career. She earned her BS in Psychology from the University of Washington, then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. Her professional interests include Performing Arts Rehabilitation, Women’s health, and Sport & Spine Rehabilitation. She enjoys the challenge of orthopedics and continues to pursue continuing education and advanced certifications, including her Certification in Integrated Manual Therapy. She is also a member of the Seattle Dance and Performing Arts Medicine group, offering free injury prevention clinics and screenings for local dancers.
Her therapy treatment focuses on providing patient education for improved postural and body awareness. Our goal is to maintain a healthy lifestyle and prevent future injury. By assessing the person as a whole, she combines hands-on techniques, functional movement, and stabilization to create a realistic and individualized plan of care.
In her spare time, she enjoys getting outdoors, traveling, supporting the performing arts, and spending time with my family.
